Each article page shows the copyright holders and the year of publication in the form "Copyright (c) [year] [author names]".

Grant of Publishing Rights

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

  • Authors grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License described in Section 02, which allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of its authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  • Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version, for example depositing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book, with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  • The publisher may also archive the article, distribute it, and make it available, including through DOI registration, indexing services, and metadata harvesting. It may also publish corrections or other notices linked to the article under the journal's publication ethics policy.

Because the licence is irrevocable, it cannot be withdrawn after publication.

Author Warranties

The corresponding author confirms, on behalf of all authors, that:

  • the article is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration elsewhere;
  • all authors have agreed to publication under the terms of this policy;
  • the authors have the right to license the work, and the article does not infringe any copyright, patent, or other right of a third party;
  • the article contains no confidential industrial or personal data that the authors are not authorised to disclose.

Third-Party Material

If an article includes material owned by someone else, the authors must obtain written permission to publish it under the article's licence before submission. Such material includes drawings, photographs, figures, technical data sheets, equipment manuals, and software screenshots. Where the owner allows publication but not reuse under the licence, the material must be clearly labelled with its source and the note "not covered by the article licence".

Self-Archiving and Sharing

Version Where it may be shared
Submitted manuscript Authors are permitted to post their work online, for example in an institutional repository or on their website, before and during the submission process. A publicly posted version may reveal the authors' identity to reviewers.
Accepted manuscript May be deposited in repositories or on personal websites. The deposit must state that the article has been accepted for publication in Jurnal INOVATOR.
Published version May be deposited without restriction in institutional and subject repositories, on personal and academic profile websites, and in research information systems.

Any shared version should acknowledge the initial publication in Jurnal INOVATOR and, once the article is published, link to its DOI.

02Licensing Policy

Article Licence

Articles published in Jurnal INOVATOR are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

The licence statement appears in three places: on each article page, in the article's machine-readable metadata, and on the journal website. The binding terms are those of the full legal code, which is linked from the licence deed. The summary below is for guidance only.

What the Licence Allows and Requires

Element Status Meaning for users
Share Permitted Copy and redistribute the article in any medium or format.
Adapt (derivatives) Permitted Remix, transform, translate, or build on the article. Adaptations may be released under any licence, provided attribution is given.
Commercial use Permitted Sharing and adaptation are allowed for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
Attribution (BY) Required Give appropriate credit, link to the licence, and indicate whether changes were made, without suggesting that the authors or the journal endorse the use.
No additional restrictions Required Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that restrict others from doing what the licence permits.

Because the licence permits commercial reuse and adaptation, authors should make sure this is acceptable for every element of their article before submission. In particular, check third-party material and any data or drawings supplied by industrial partners.

How to Attribute

When reusing a Jurnal INOVATOR article, cite the authors, year, title, journal name, volume, issue, pages, and DOI, and state the licence. For example:

A. Author and B. Author, "Title of the article," Jurnal INOVATOR, vol. X, no. Y, pp. xx–yy, Year, doi: 10.37338/…. Licensed under CC BY 4.0.

If the material was modified, add a statement such as "Adapted from [citation]; changes were made." Each article page offers ready-made citation formats under "How to Cite".

Limitations and Exceptions

  • Third-party material labelled as not covered by the article licence may not be reused without the owner's permission.
  • The licence does not cover trademarks, logos, product names, or patents described in an article. It also does not grant publicity, privacy, or moral rights.
  • Uses permitted by law under applicable copyright exceptions do not require compliance with the licence.

Application and Consistency

  • The licence is applied when an article is published and stays in force for that version. Later changes to journal policy do not withdraw the licence from articles already published.
  • Corrected versions and notices linked to an article carry the same licence as the article.
  • If a licence statement on an article page, in its PDF, or in its metadata appears inconsistent, readers and authors are asked to report it through the Contact page so that it can be corrected.
