Journal Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine the journal's name, scope, periodicity, and accreditation application, if necessary.
- Determine the membership of the editorial board.
- Define the relationship between the publisher, editor, peer reviewers, and other parties in a contract.
- Respect confidentiality for contributing researchers, authors/writers, editors, and peer reviewers.
- Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, particularly copyright.
- Review journal policies and communicate them to authors/writers, the editorial board, peer reviewers, and readers.
- Develop guidelines for rules and ethical conduct for editors and peer reviewers.
- Publish the journal regularly.
- Ensure the availability of funding for the journal's continued publication.
- Build a network of collaborations with research institutions and related agencies.
- Prepare permits and other legal aspects.
Duties and Responsibilities of an Editor
- Meeting the needs of readers and authors, striving for continuous improvement in the quality of publications.
- Implementing processes to ensure the quality of published papers.
- Prioritizing freedom of expression objectively.
- Maintaining the integrity of authors' academic records.
- Providing corrections, clarifications, and apologies when necessary.
- Being responsible for the style and format of scientific papers, while the content and all statements in the papers are the responsibility of the authors.
- Actively soliciting the opinions of authors, readers, peer reviewers, and editorial board members to improve the quality of publications.
- Conducting regular internal evaluations of the quality of scientific journals.
- Supporting authors' initiatives on publication ethics by including a clearance form with every manuscript submission.
- Being open-minded to new opinions or the views of others that may conflict with one's own for the advancement of science.
- Avoiding objective decisions by not defending one's own opinions, those of authors, or third parties, and seeking scientifically sound solutions.
- Encouraging authors to improve their papers until they are ready for publication.
Reviewer Duties and Responsibilities

Review papers and submit the review results to the editor as a basis for determining the suitability of a paper for publication.

Reviewers do not conduct scientific reviews of papers in which they are involved, either directly or indirectly.

Provide suggestions, input, and positive recommendations regarding scientific paper manuscripts.

Protect author privacy by not disseminating corrections, suggestions, and recommendations regarding a manuscript.

Encourage authors to improve their papers.

Review revised papers in accordance with established standards.

Paperworks are reviewed in a timely manner in accordance with the publication's style and established scientific principles (data collection methods, authorship, conclusions, etc.).
Author Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that those listed as authors meet the criteria for authorship.
- Be collectively responsible for the work and content of the article, including methods, analysis, calculations, and details.
- State the source of resources (including funding), both direct and indirect.
- Explain the limitations of the research.
- Respond to comments made by peer reviewers and the editorial board in a professional, scientific, and timely manner.
- Inform the editor in writing if you intend to withdraw your manuscript.
- Certify that the manuscript submitted for publication is original, has not been published elsewhere or in any language, and is not currently under submission to another publisher.
